I decided I was going lớn watch more shows for fun. One show I’m watching is Man lớn Man starring Park Hae Jin (I enjoyed Park Hae Jin in 7 First Kisses) on the JTBC network, one that I don’t normal watch.
At the end of my recaps I have a “My Thoughts” section where I summarize my reflections. I just finished episode 3 of Man lớn Man & thought I nội dung my opinions on these episodes.
My Thoughts
* This show is about the relationships between three key figures; agent Kim Sul Woo (Park Hae Jin) has been assigned to guard kích hoạt actor Yeo Woon Gwang (Park Sung Woong). But Woon Gwang’s manager phụ vương Do Ha (Kim Min Jung) doesn’t fully trust Sul Woo. I lượt thích how each of these characters play off each other. This isn’t about two men liking the same woman.* Kim Sul Woo is a ghost (off the grid) agent whose assignment includes guarding kích hoạt actor Yeo Woon Gwang (Park Sung Woong) in order khổng lồ be able khổng lồ retrieve some items. Sul Woo is controlled, calm, và a bit rigid. But Woon Gwang’s manager thân phụ Do Ha ruffles his feathers. She is the potential love interest for our undercover agent. At this point she only has eyes for Woon Gwang though it feels more lượt thích friendship than love. What do I lượt thích about Sul Woo? He is cool. He wears clothing like a model. He has a xinh tươi smile when he flashes it. He needs love not a casual physical encounter.* Bromance is integral to lớn this story. The relationship between Sul Woo and Woon Gwang is progressing nicely. Woon Gwang trusts Sul Woo who enjoys the arrogant but fun actor. Woon Gwang has a cadre of support while Sul Woo is a loner. Does Sul Woo wish he had that depth of relationships?* Yeo Woon Gwang (Park Sung Woong) is flamboyant, fun, yet sad at the loss of the love is his life. She’s not dead. She broke off their relationship unexpectedly and married another. Woon Gwang was deeply hurt. She still longs for him but married another (has a son). Given the constraints of marriage is a romance even possible? I enjoyed Sung Woong when he played a similar animated character in Remember. * All the tư vấn characters are solid. This cast an experienced team of actors. You’d recognize most of them from other kdramas. The only ones I don’t recognize are the young actors playing makeup artists & driver lớn Woon Gwang.* This show is fun. When Sul Woo took Woon Gwang’s wrist & lead him down the gridlocked highway khổng lồ the subway station, that was a laugh out loud moment. The humor is derived from the characters it is not contrived. That’s abig difference that makes the humor work so much better. They get into silly situations that are funny because you care about the character.* This show is pre-produced. I’m expecting the unique to be there. Và so far, I’m pleased. The production values, the locations, the writing, make this series substantial. The writer is Kim Won Suk, co-writer of mega hit Descendants of the Sun.* Ranking the episodes (on a scale from 1-6) sees ep 1 as okay, it improved in ep 2, và further improvement in ep 3. My episode ranking chart is below.
